Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 August 2026

อ่านฉบับภาษาไทย
These Terms are published in English, and English is the operative language. A Thai translation is available for convenience; where the two differ, the English text governs. The agreement is governed by Thai law (section 11), and nothing here limits any right a consumer has under the law of Thailand or of their own country of residence where that right cannot be waived.
CandleStonk is not investment advice — it is a tool for recording and analysing your own trading, nothing more. Every statistic and report is calculated from the data you enter. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, and we are not a licensed investment advisory business registered with the Thai SEC.

1. About the service

CandleStonk(“the service”, “we”) is a web application for keeping a personal trading journal. It lets you record your own trades and see statistics and reports calculated from that data.

The service is operated by Harun Sangrompo (an individual), contactable at support@candlestonk.com

By signing up or continuing to use the service you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 20 years of age or older (of legal age under section 19 of the Thai Civil and Commercial Code) to enter into this agreement yourself. A minor below that age needs the consent of a person with parental authority, both to enter into the agreement and to provide personal data (section 20 of the Personal Data Protection Act).
  • Sign-up is through a Google account only. We never hold your password.
  • You are responsible for the security of your own Google account.
  • Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.
  • One person should use one account. Creating several accounts to get around the limits of the free plan is a breach of these Terms.
  • The service is available worldwide. You are responsible for making sure that using it is lawful where you live — we do not know your local rules and cannot advise on them.

3. Closed Beta

CandleStonk is currently in Closed Beta — every feature is free, including the ones listed under the Supporter plan in section 4, and nothing is charged at all.

The owner intends to keep the service available at no cost on an ongoing basis. There may in future be extra features for Supporters. This is a statement of intent, not a contractual guarantee. If it has to change, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app, and you may stop using the service at no cost.

During the Beta the service may contain errors, features may change, and it may be temporarily unavailable without notice. We strongly recommend keeping your own copy of any trading data that matters and not relying on this as the only place your records exist.

4. Plans and payment

CandleStonk is free for the core features of recording and reviewing your trading. If you would like to support its development you can take the CandleStonk Supporter plan, which unlocks additional analysis, at 79 THB per 30-day period (see section 3 — nothing is charged during the Beta).

  • Free plan: unlimited recording, editing and viewing of trades; the dashboard; the equity curve; Overall Statistics; the risk summary for open positions; action plans and checklists; and one trading portfolio.
  • Supporter plan: additionally unlocks Accounts Statistics, Tags Analysis, and unlimited trading portfolios.
  • How to pay, today: by PromptPay transfer, emailing us the receipt. We check it and enable access within 24 hours. PromptPay is a Thai payment system, so in practice this is available only to customers with a Thai bank account.
  • How to pay, once card payment opens: card payment for customers outside Thailand is not yet available. When it is, it will be handled by Stripe, and we will update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before taking a single payment that way. Until then, nothing in this section offers a way for a customer outside Thailand to pay, and none is implied.
  • No automatic charging and no automatic renewal — Supporter access lasts 30 days per payment, after which the account returns to the free plan by itself. Pay again only if you want to continue. If that ever changes, section 9 governs how you will be told.
  • Cancelling: since nothing renews automatically, there is nothing to cancel. If you do not want to continue, simply do not pay for the next period; you keep Supporter access until the period you already paid for ends.
  • Refunds: we do not generally refund a period that has already started. We will refund in full where (a) you paid twice or paid in error, (b) we were unable to enable your access, or (c) the service shuts down permanently during a period you had paid for. Ask for a refund at the address in section 10.

If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a contract for digital services. Because Supporter access is enabled straight away, you will be asked to agree that performance begins immediately and to acknowledge that you lose the withdrawal right once it does. If you would rather keep the 14 days, say so when you pay and we will hold off enabling access until they have passed.

None of the above affects the rights you have as a consumer under Thai consumer protection law, or under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in where that law cannot be contracted out of.

5. Your data

  • The trading data you record remains yours. We do not sell it or disclose it to third parties, except where you choose to publish a public profile yourself (Settings → Public profile, which is off by default) and as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • You permit us to store, process and display that data only so far as is necessary to provide the service to you. That permission ends when you delete the data or close your account.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record.
  • When you close your account permanently: we keep the data for 30 days in case you change your mind, after which it is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.

6. Prohibited use

You must not use the service to:

  • run bots, scripts or automated tools to scrape data or place an unreasonable load on the system;
  • attempt to break in, probe for vulnerabilities, or reach another user's data without authorisation;
  • reverse-engineer, copy or adapt the software in order to offer it as a service yourself;
  • do anything unlawful, or infringe anyone else's rights.

If you find a security vulnerability we would genuinely be grateful to hear about it — please write to the address in section 10 rather than disclosing it publicly.

7. Intellectual property

The software, the interface, the name “CandleStonk” and all content of the service (other than the data users record themselves) are the intellectual property of the operator. Using the service transfers no ownership rights to you.

8. Limitation of liability

  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the calculations, statistics or reports are complete, correct or error-free, however carefully they have been checked.
  • We do not warrant that the service will run without interruption.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from your investment or trading decisions, whether or not they drew on anything in the system, because the service is only a tool for recording and analysing your own trading.
  • Where the law does not permit liability to be excluded entirely, our liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service in the 12 months before the event.
  • The limits above do not apply to loss caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and do not affect any consumer right that Thai law says cannot be limited or waived.

9. Suspension and changes to these Terms

  • We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms or is used in a way that harms the system or other users. We will explain why by email, except where something urgent has to be stopped immediately to prevent damage.
  • If your account is suspended you may still request a copy of your own data within the period given in section 5.
  • We may revise these Terms from time to time. For a material change — starting to charge, or changing what the free plan includes — we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Complaints and contact

For questions, complaints or refund requests, write to support@candlestonk.com. We reply within 7 working days.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may complain to the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) on 1166, or, for matters concerning personal data, to the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Thai law, and any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
